Catholic schools working with authorities on COVID-19

The Catholic education sector is working very closely with the Queensland and Australian Governments to ensure Catholic schools appropriately plan and manage the emerging issues associated with COVID-19.

Catholic schools have as their top priority the wellbeing of students and staff.  This will continue to guide decision making along with the advice received regularly from authorities, including the Chief Health Officer.

Any impacts on schools will be managed in line with the advice and directions provided by the relevant authorities.

The Queensland Catholic Education Commission is in daily contact with all Catholic School Authorities to ensure they have the most up-to-date information on the COVID-19 situation.
