Diocesan Director Catholic Education Rockhampton to conclude in role

Miss Leesa Jeffcoat AM, has announced her intention to conclude her time as Director of Catholic Education, Diocese of Rockhampton, as of 31 December 2024. Miss Jeffcoat will be taking leave from 1 July 2024 and the intention is that a new Director will be in place from that date onwards.
Leesa has been a valuable member of the Commission since 1996. During this time, she has served under five Commission Chairs and has made an enormous contribution to the work of the Commission, many of its committees and sub-committees and as the QCEC representative to statewide educational bodies.
QCEC Executive Director Allan Blagaich said ‘on behalf of the Secretariat I thank Leesa for her vast contributions to Catholic education and wish her well in her new direction serving the mission of the Catholic Church’.
