CEQL Hub

The QCEC ICT Symposium will be held at UniSQ in Brisbane on Friday 23 August with the theme Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Education – leveraging opportunities and balancing risks. This will be a hybrid event with in-person and online participation options. 

The event includes key speakers from Microsoft, the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority, Villanova College, University of Queensland, Brisbane Catholic Education, and Catholic Education Network. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a workshop with AI applications for education. 

The symposium will provide the opportunity to explore the potential opportunities as well as challenges associated with new and emerging AI technologies and their application to school contexts. Further information including the event flyer is available here.
