To support Queensland Catholic School Authorities with implementation of the Reportable Conduct Scheme, CEQL is hosting a series of Investigator Training Workshops. The workshops introduce the key concepts and considerations relevant to conducting investigations.

What to expect

The workshops are built around participation and practical application, using realistic scenarios drawn from both early years and school-based contexts. Participants will also have opportunities throughout the session to reflect on and discuss the human impact of the investigation process.

CEQL has developed documents and templates to support schools with investigations, and some of these resources will be used during the workshop. Attendees will receive them beforehand. This gives participants a valuable opportunity to see the documents applied in practice and to identify any improvements needed to strengthen them.

Who should attend

Registration is open to staff employed in Queensland Catholic schools or school systems who conduct or oversee investigations, or who support the implementation of the Reportable Conduct Scheme. If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact events@ceql.catholic.edu.au before registering.

This is a hybrid event. In‑person attendees will enjoy networking opportunities.
