NAPLAN testing underway

QCEC would like to wish Queensland Catholic schools all the best as they commence NAPLAN testing today.

Schools across the country are set to receive individual student and school NAPLAN results for reading, numeracy, spelling, and grammar and punctuation earlier in 2024, compared to previous years.

The changes mean schools and education authorities will receive preliminary school and student results from the assessments early in Term 2, around 4 weeks after the test period ends on 25 March 2024.

The revised timing will give teachers more time to consider the results alongside their own assessments, and then use them to inform their teaching and learning programs in the current school year. 

Writing results will be available from June 2024 and Individual Student Reports for parents and carers will be available at the start of Term 3.
