This 3-hour online workshop provides an opportunity for school NCCD teams (including principals and/or school leaders with responsibility for NCCD) in rural and remote locations to reflect on the successes and challenges of the 2025/2026 cycle and to plan for 2026/2027.

Program

• Investigating school data: staff survey responses; the NCCD count for the 2026 census.
• Using school data to reflect on successes and challenges.
• Developing a plan for 2026/2027 cycle.

Registration

• Registrations close on Monday 14 September 2026.
• Each member of the school NCCD team should register individually.
• After registration, participants will receive a link to the workshop.

What to bring

• 2026 student count for the NCCD (August census).
• 2025/2026 NCCD Action Plan/School Goals.

Feedback and collaboration

In the lead up to the workshop, CEQL will distribute a survey from the NCCD portal to participating schools to share staff feedback on 2025/2026 NCCD experiences. Collaboration with the Catholic School Authority (CSA) inclusive education staff is a key component of this reflection and planning process.
