QCEC 2022 Capital Projects Round Information Sessions – all Dioceses

The 2022 Capital Round will open on 25 October 2021.

Catholic School Authorities may apply for capital assistance for the planning, construction, alteration, extension, renovation, relocation or upgrading of educational facilities for students; boarding facilities for students (and supervisors); and residential accommodation for teachers in remote areas (subject to Ministerial approval).

The QCEC Secretariat is conducting information sessions on:

• the capital assistance program, program guidelines and criteria for capital expenditure
• application eligibility and the application process
• role of the Capital Assistance Assessment Committee (CAAC) and Capital Assistance Reference Group (CARG)
• assessment and ranking of applications by CAAC
• assessment of an applicant’s financial contribution (including the assessment methodology used)
• cost review process undertaken by CARG
• appeal mechanisms open to unsuccessful applicants
• ongoing Conditions of Compliance that apply to successful applicants
• post-occupancy compliance audits and ongoing compliance requirements post project completion.

QCEC would like to extend an invitation to those who will be applying for funding in the 2022 Capital Round to attend.

Due to COVID-19 health directions restricting capacity of meeting rooms, it is important that you book these sessions before the 15 October 2021.

Sessions are being run in October / November in all Dioceses.
