2026 Capital Assistance Program
CEQL is the approved agent to administer capital grants on behalf of the Australian Government and Queensland Government, and our role is to receive and assess applications for capital assistance from affiliated schools and make recommendations to the Minister for Education (Australian and State Governments).
CEQL approves Capital Program Guidelines as the Block Grant Authority (BGA) and Capital Assistance Authority (CAA) for Catholic schools in Queensland.

CEQL is the Central Governing Body (CGB) for Sessional Kindergarten Services. CEQL’s role is to administer capital funding using appropriate governance arrangements to ensure applications for capital assistance from a Delegated Catholic Agency (DCA) are managed in accordance with the requirements of government.
Delegated Catholic Agencies (DCAs) in Queensland may apply to access Capital Works Upgrade funding from the Queensland Government to increase the inclusion and participation of all children in kindergarten, in accordance with the requirements of the Guidelines and the Member Agreement executed by each participating DCA.
