Preparing CSAs for the Schools USI rollout

The Schools USI is a national enabling initiative under the Better and Fairer Schools Agreement (2025–2034), with the expectation that all school students will receive a Schools USI by the end of 2027. This workshop will provide a status update on key Schools USI workstreams, including legislation, regulations, privacy, data governance, communications, information technology (IT) build and business readiness.

What to expect

The workshop will support Catholic School Authorities (CSAs) to understand current national implementation milestones and consider the practical steps required to prepare for the Schools USI rollout across Queensland Catholic education. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in initial implementation planning processes aligned to national milestones, share local considerations, and identify readiness priorities for their authority.

Who should attend

Registration is open to staff from Queensland Catholic schools and school systems involved in planning, implementing or supporting the Schools USI rollout, particularly those working across governance, privacy, data, IT, communications and operational readiness.
