More than 130 nominations have been received for the state-wide 2023 Spirt of Catholic Education Awards and will soon be announced.

The Awards are presented annually in conjunction with Catholic Education Week in July to celebrate outstanding contributions to Catholic education in Queensland. 

Nominees, including teams, are recognised across a number of categories for excellence in their work, leadership, service, initiative and creating positive change for indigenous students. 

All nominations from Queensland Catholic school communities are being collated and delivered to judging panels who will meet in the coming weeks to determine this year’s recipients.
