The theme for the 2018 Student Protection In-Service is Schools as Child Safe Organisations, with guest
speakers addressing issues and actions arising from the Royal Commission into Institutional Reponses
to Child Sexual Abuse focus on ensuring organisations are child safe.

Topics that will be addressed are:

• Standards for assessing and auditing child safe organisations
• Engaging children and young people in ensuring schools are child safe organisations
• Responding to harmful student sexual behaviour.
