TEACHX Awards Finalists

Congratulations to six Queensland Catholic school teachers who have been named among the 29 finalists in the Queensland College of Teachers TEACHX Awards.
The awards each year celebrate the outstanding contributions of registered teachers in Queensland from all schooling sectors and shine a spotlight on their extraordinary work.
This year the awards attracted more than 220 nominations. One winner will be selected from each of the six award categories.

Elyse Johnston from St Laurence’s College, South Brisbane
Excellence in Teaching Award
Deana Dodds from Loreto College, Coorparoo
Excellent Leadership In Teaching and Learning Award
Daniel Crump from Stuartholme School, Toowong
Outstanding Contribution to Teaching
Susan Rheinberger from St Patrick’s College, Townsville
The winners will be announced virtually at the TEACHX Awards presentation ceremony at 4pm on Thursday, 28 October, the eve of World Teachers’ Day celebrations. The presentation program is available here.
