QCEC is pleased to be hosting a VET Forum over two days (19-20 May) this year.

 

Theme: Destination Career

The two days will provide a rich and varied program to deliver quality professional development and conversations.

Day 1: Choice of industry site visits to showcase in action the diversity of roles industry offers and the expectations of employers for young people choosing vocational education and training to build the skills and capabilities for these pathways.

Site visit options will include:

• ICT industry – River City Labs and XR Hub, Fortitude Valley

• Hospitality industry – Emporium Hotel, Southbank

• Manufacturing industry – B&R Enclosures, Heathwood

Day 2: Keynote speakers and workshops.

Sharing and networking with colleagues will be key throughout the two days.

 

This year participants have the following registration options open to them:

Mode 1 – two day ticket – attend both days including site visit (19-20 May) in person (cost $100 per participant)

Mode 2 – one day ticket – attend day two (20 May) in person (cost $50 per participant)

Mode 3 – one day online ticket – attend day two (20 May) online (no cost to attend)
