World Teachers’ Day 2023: Teacher Spotlight – Bridget Canty-Walters

Bridget Canty-Walters, a first-year teacher at Mother Teresa Catholic Primary School in Ormeau, has had a passion for teaching ever since she was a child.

“I was always meant to be a teacher. I loved every minute of primary school and loved learning, and now I get to pass on that passion to the next generation,” Bridget said.

Bridget’s previous experience working as a teacher aide and in out-of-school hours care (OSHC) kept her connected to the world of teaching.
